Love’s and Speedco Seek to Hire More Than 1,200 Tire and Diesel Mechanics

Love’s Travel Stops to host national hiring day in February

Love’s said it needs to hire more than 1,200 new employees for full-time and part-time roles as tire technicians, mechanic apprentices and diesel mechanics. Love’s will host a one-day hiring event on Feb. 28 at more than 350 Love’s Truck Tire Care or Speedco locations across the U.S. during the company’s first hiring day event.

Love’s mechanic apprenticeship program allows apprentices to earn a competitive wage while working toward the designation of a diesel mechanic. Upon successful completion of the apprentice program, they will receive a tool kit valued at $3,500, which is theirs to keep. Newly hired diesel mechanics will start between $22 – $27 an hour.
