Love’s Travel Stops Adds 74 New Jobs and Truck Parking to Oregon
Love’s Travel Stops (Love’s) is now serving Customers in Millersburg, Oregon, — opening a new store located at 6457 Old Salem Road (Interstate 5, Exit 238).
The development brings 74 new jobs to Linn County and 72 truck parking spaces.
“We’re happy to be in the growing community of Millersburg,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s. “Millersburg is a popular stop for professional drivers and travelers in the busy metropolitan area of Portland.”
The more than 8,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7 and has an Arby’s restaurant for Customers to enjoy. The store also offers brand-name snacks, gourmet coffee, Fresh-to-Go options, fountain drinks, electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 72 truck parking spaces, seven showers, laundry facilities and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center.
“We welcome Love’s to Millersburg as they become our anchor business on the north end of our growing city,” said Jim Lepin, mayor of Millersburg. “We look forward to building a great relationship with Love’s as we continue to see increasing residential, commercial and industrial growth. They provide a much needed service to our residents, businesses and those traveling the Interstate 5 corridor.”
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Aug. 28. During the ceremony, Love’s will present a $2,000 donation to the Linn County Sheriff’s Department.
