Marshall Cogan Named Chairman of AMP Holding, to Focus on Electric Vehicles
AMP Holding has tapped Marshall Cogan to serve as Chairman of its Board of Directors, replacing James Taylor, who will remain on the board.
Cogan brings a decades-long career as an investor, entrepreneur and investment banker to the new post and he is expected to focus on electric vehicles for the company.
He was the founder of United Automotive Group (now Penske Automotive Group) and served as its Chairman and CEO from 1997 to 1999. In recent years, Cogan has been involved in the foreign auto industry. With a deep background in international business experience, he has been involved in the automobile industry in China where he pioneered the consolidation of luxury BMW auto dealerships and also founded China Auto Car. a manufacturer of anti-theft devices.
