Mike Moss Named COO at Ward Transport

Ward Transport and Logistics Corp., a family owned regional LTL carrier and logistics solutions provider, has announced that Mike Moss will be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer.

Ward has over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. He started his career as a dock worker and has moved through various roles including many senior leadership roles in Sales and Operations. His leadership roles included a variety of positions from Service Center Manager and Director and VP of Operations, Vice President of Sales, to President and CEO of Fed Ex Freight West.

In addition, Ward has worked as the SVP of International Development for FedEx Freight System as well as the VP of Logistics Solutions for Southeastern Freight Lines. Most recently he worked as the Sr. VP Operations for ABF Freight.
