Mone Transport Converts Previous Hypertruck ERX™ Reservation to 20-Unit Order

The order further demonstrates Mone’s commitment to sustainability, with a particular interest in improving fuel economy and driver experience

Hyliion Holdings Corp. electrified powertrain solutions for Class 8 semi-trucks, today announced that Mone Transport has ordered 20 units backed by deposits to secure Hypertruck ERX™ production slots. Based in Laredo, Texas, the door-to-door service provider is an early adopter of green technology, with Hyliion Hybrid diesel solutions already incorporated into its operations.

Having seen success with the implementation of Hyliion Hybrid products in its fleet, Mone Transport reserved 40 Hypertruck ERX units in July of 2021, and has converted 20 of those reservations to orders after their recent Ride and Drive experience at Hyliion’s headquarters. The order further demonstrates Mone’s commitment to sustainability, with a particular interest in improving fuel economy and driver experience, all while reducing its carbon footprint.
