New Benchmarking Tool Accompanies NACFE’s 2022 Fleet Fuel Study
Annual Fleet Fuel Study Back After Hiatus, Benchmarking Tool Added
The North American Council for Freight Efficiency’s Annual Fleet Fuel Study (AFFS) is back after a three-year break. While fleet-wide average fuel economy numbers were flat compared to the last study, the 15 fleets in the AFFS operating 75,000 trucks saved $540,000 in 2021 compared to the average trucks on the road. Fleets shared option practices on 86 technologies that help save fuel.
New with this year’s AFFS is an interactive Benchmarking Tool that allows fleets to enter data about their adoption practices for the 86 technologies to see how they compare to the fleets that participated in the study.
