New Gas Tank Shield from BC3 Takes Popular Mechanics Award
A new gas tank shield product from BC3 has just been introduced and received an Editor’s Choice Award from Popular Mechanics magazine.
Called Gas Tank Shield, it is the first product to leverage B3C’s new FUEL LIFE technology.
Gas Tank Shield is well suited for older equipment that vent atmospherically and are prone to water absorption from ethanol-blended fuel leading to phase separation. It has a proprietary blend of nanoporous materials that absorb and break the water-ethanol bond at the molecular level.
According to the company, this virtually eliminates phase separation from occurring while reducing the corrosive effects of ethanol-blended fuels. Enhanced with FUEL LIFE technology, Gas Tank Shield further neutralizes the chemical reaction that causes fuel decay and purifies marginal fuel by neutralizing the chemical reaction that has already occurred. The result for fleets and trucks is completely stabilized and water free fuel.
