New Software to Aid in DOT Compliance and Safety 

Safety Management Systems, Inc. (SMS), an EHS and Regulatory Compliance provider, has announced the launch of Fleet360, a scalable, compliance and EHS Solution, software platform for any size fleet company. 

The launch of Fleet360, which focuses predominately on DOT Compliance, joins SMS’s EHS OSHA software – SMS360 as an affordable solution for small and mid-sized businesses to manage risk.

Fleet360 was created by Robert Petrancosta who joined SMS in January 2018 as Vice President of Fleet Safety & Compliance. Petrancosta has over 40 years of experience in fleet operations and Safety which includes; 25 years with Con-Way Transportation, 3 years as the Senior Safety Consultant with FedEx Ground; member of the Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee (FMCSA); member of ATA (American Trucking Association); and in his various committee chairs has testified before OSHA; DOT; RSPA and the United States Congress.

Fleet360 includes Driver Qualification Forms (Pre/Post Hire), Vehicle Management which includes DVIR, Preventative Maintenance, Roadside Inspections and other features, plus a complete tutorial Fleet Safety Library containing “Tool Box Talks” for drivers will be exhibiting as SMS360 at The Great America Trucking Show in Dallas, TX, August 23-25^th, Booth # 906.
