Oil Continues Drop, Pump Prices Slow to Follow
While oil dropped to $38 per barrel this week, gas prices at the pump have been very slow to follow. According to the latest Fleet News, fuel prices remain in a very tight range but continue to be heading downwards recently. This week, the price of Regular nationwide was $2.595 vs. $2.670 one week ago and $3.437 last year at this time.
The news in fuel prices for Diesel was a similar. One gallon of Diesel stands at $2.622 vs. $2.655 last week and $3.807 last year at this time.
