Omnitracs Joins Truckers Against Trafficking at The Great American Trucking Show
Volunteers to provide ongoing support to the work of Truckers Against Trafficking to assist law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking
Omnitracs, LLC, a global pioneer of fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies, announced support for Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), a non-profit organization that educates, equips, and empowers truck drivers to recognize and report instances of human trafficking at The Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas, Texas.
In the ongoing effort to elevate the important mission of Truckers Against Trafficking to the trucking industry, Omnitracs employee volunteers will team with TAT staff members to bring awareness and education to attendees of GATS. The Truckers Against Trafficking booth will be open during show hours beginning August 22 through August 24, where all event attendees are encouraged to learn how they can help assist law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking.
“We are delighted to partner with an organization that strives to bring positive change to our industry,” said Brittney Anderson, lead culture and engagement manager at Omnitracs. “We proudly accept opportunities to bring more visibility, education, and training to such an important cause.”
“Omnitracs is a wonderful partner of TAT and we appreciate the creative ways in which they leverage their resources on behalf of our mission,” said Kylla Lanier, deputy director and co-founder for Truckers Against Trafficking. “To have Omnitracs employees volunteering at GATS, side by side with our team, is yet another phenomenal example of how this industry, and this company partner with us in the fight against human trafficking.”
