Omnitracs Selects Dallas for Corporate Headquarters
Omnitracs, LLC, a leading provider of fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies, has announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from San Diego, Calif. to Dallas, Texas in early 2015.
The move will be supported by a grant from the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF).
According John Graham, CEO of Omnitracs, “As a major transportation hub with a technology-savvy workforce, we believe Dallas offers great advantages that align with our long-term business vision. Our new headquarters location places us closer to many of our fleet customers to ensure we can quickly and efficiently meet their evolving mobile technology needs.”
Founded more than 25 years ago, Omnitracs pioneered the use of commercial vehicle telematics.
Today, Omnitracs’ nearly 700 employees–and its Roadnet, Sylectus and FleetRisk Advisors business units–deliver software-as-a-service-based solutions to more than 3,800 private and for-hire fleet customers and 500,000 vehicles around the globe.
