Pegasus TransTech Starts Retail Distribution of Telematics via Love’s Travel Stops
Telematics is going tiny!
Pegasus TransTech, a leader in enterprise mobility, telematics, and business process automation for the transportation industry, has announced at the Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention that it has begun distributing its next-generation Transflo Telematics solution through all Love’s Travel Stop locations.
The new offering includes the Transflo ELD T7, an installation harness, and multilingual reference guides in consumer electronics packaging. The retail product also includes reporting insights and a new Transflo HOS mobile application through which independent drivers and small fleet owners register the device and manage logs.
With underlying technology that has already been deployed by thousands of fleet drivers, the solution, according to the company, installs in minutes and is easy to use.
Love’s Travel Stops has signed an agreement to promote and sell the Transflo ELD T7 device throughout its nationwide locations, adding telematics to its list of electronics offerings. Love’s is also incorporating a special ELD offer to Gold, Platinum and Diamond My Love Rewards members, providing a free device and free monthly service through June 2018.
“We’re helping our most loyal professional drivers prepare for the new hours of service regulation,” shared Dave Frankenfield, Love’s Vice President of Marketing. “By offering full reimbursement via My Love Rewards points for the purchase of a Transflo T7 ELD and monthly Translfo E-Log service, Love’s is making the transition to electronic logging as easy and affordable as we can. We want to encourage drivers to evaluate and learn how to benefit from this new technology today to be prepared for the mandate in December.”
Here’s the thumbnail:
- Retail availability at more than 360 locations in 40 states.
- Instant rewards points for Gold, Platinum, or Diamond status rewards members upon purchase of the Transflo ELD T7, equal to the price of the device.
- Additional rewards points each month for qualified rewards members who download the Transflo HOS app and register for E-Log service, equal to the price of the monthly service.
“This is the answer to questions small fleet operators have raised about the cost of the mandate,” stated Frank Adelman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus TransTech. “Transflo technology combined with Love’s loyalty is making electronic logging devices available and affordable to the millions of drivers who need to comply with the new rules.”
The new retail product adds to the company’s enterprise telematics solution, which continues to be adopted and deployed by major fleets since its introduction just five months ago. Enterprise fleet drivers will continue to access ELD features in conjunction with the load management, document capture, and dispatch chat features of Transflo Mobile, the industry’s leading workday management solution.
