Rusty Weiss Named to ATRI’s Research Advisory Committee

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has selected Lytx’s Director of External Research, Rusty Weiss, to serve on its Research Advisory Committee (RAC).

The group is responsible for identifying the trucking industry’s top issues and priorities for research.

That’s why Lytx, a global leader in delivering video-based driver safety and predictive analytics, was tapped. The company is focused on preventing collisions, reducing injuries and saving lives.

Weiss heads up Lytx’s research efforts that bring insights to Lytx clients and the trucking industry on a host of issues, involving driver and transportation safety. He directs and analyzes a myriad of driver safety research projects covering topics such as collision causation, driver satisfaction, coaching efficacy, hours of service and safety performance and international driver safety projects.

ATRI, established in 1954, is a branch of the American Trucking Association.
