Schneider Internship Program Named One of the Best
Vault names company to 100 Best Internships and 30 Best Internships for Diversity lists
As many as 81% of students report that an internship experience shifted their career path by changing the focus of their classes or majors. Schneider (NYSE: SNDR), a premier provider of trucking, intermodal and logistics services, has long offered internships that provide the valuable, real-world experience students need to make decisions about their future careers. In fact, the company’s internship program was recently named by Vault as one of the country’s 100 Best Internships and 30 Best Internships for Diversity.
Vault is a comprehensive resource for students and job seekers looking for career advice, job postings and information about what it’s like to work within a company, industry or profession. To compile the 100 Best Internships list, Vault surveyed 14,000 current and former interns about their internship experiences, including the application process, meaningfulness of assignments and full-time employment prospects. Employers who also scored highly for diversity (with respect to women, minorities, LGBT individuals and other underrepresented groups) were named to the 30 Best Internships for Diversity list.
“Our core values of integrity, respect and excellence shape the experience we provide our interns,” said Todd Jadin, vice president of associate relations and talent management. “We’re proud to know that these values that are so important to us at Schneider have led to an internship program that students find valuable and inclusive.”
Schneider offers dozens of internship opportunities where students can gain experience in information technology, finance, operations, customer service, human resources, sales, marketing and more. To learn more about Schneider’s internship program and to see any available opportunities, visit .
