Stertil-Koni Vice President of Sales Jim Sylvester Retires After 21 Years of Top Sales & Service Record
Jim’s intense commitment to serving customers made Stertil-Koni a better company
Heavy duty vehicle lift leader Stertil-Koni USA today announced that Jim Sylvester, Vice President of Sales, has retired after 21-years of record performance in sales and distributor support.
Sylvester joined Stertil-Koni USA Inc. in its early days, 1998, and has played a significant role in helping the company grow more than 50-fold to dominate the heavy duty vehicle lift industry across North America.
During Sylvester’s tenure at Stertil-Koni, he leveraged his vast knowledge of the vehicle lift industry to achieve significant account development and sales activities with a broad customer base, including large transit agencies, municipalities, major corporations, school districts and other vertical industries that service and maintain heavy duty vehicles.
Sylvester’s principal focus was to work with Stertil-Koni’s exclusive distributorships based in the Midwest, New England and Eastern Canada. Using his entrepreneurial skills he also developed and built new customer relationships to the benefit of both his distributors and Stertil-Koni.
In making today’s announcement, Dr. Jean DellAmore, President of Stertil-Koni, stated “Jim has been a key driver in our ongoing success. He is an exceedingly dedicated professional with a remarkable ability to supervise a diverse group of distributorships in the U.S. and Canada. Jim’s intense commitment to serving Stertil-Koni and our customer base has made us a better company today and we are very grateful for his contributions.”
Larry Beyler, President of Midwest Equipment Specialists, a Stertil-Koni distributor in Wisconsin, added, “Jim’s years of experience and knowledge has helped us grow and become even more successful.”
Sylvester plans to spend his leisure time at his home in Illinois with his family and grandchildren, plus ride his motorcycle. He actively supports PAWS, an organization assisting wounded warriors that provides service dogs to veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.
