Steven Goodale Appointed VP Daimler Truck Financial

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC has announced that Steven Goodale, currently Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed Vice President of Daimler Truck Financial.

Daimler Truck Financial provides financial and insurance services in support of Daimler Trucks North America’s commercial vehicle brands, which include: Freightliner; Western Star; Thomas Built Buses; Mitsubishi Fuso; and Sprinter.

Goodale takes the place of Juergen Rochert, currently Vice President of Daimler Truck Financial, who will take on a new assignment as Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Australia and New Zealand.

Goodale began his career with the company in 1985, as a part-time adjuster at Chrysler Credit Corporation, while completing his bachelor’s degree at Wichita State University. He has held several positions in the U.S. and Germany, including: the head of Global Credit Operations; Vice President of Credit and National Accounts; Vice President of Customer Service, Collections and Remarketing; as well as Zone Manager in Philadelphia and New Orleans.

While Goodale served as the Director of Credit for Daimler Truck Financial from 2001 to 2005, he successfully worked with dealers and customers to find solutions in a very challenging environment. In this new position, Goodale will be responsible for all activities within Daimler Truck Financial and is a member of the company’s executive leadership team.

He will be based in the company’s Operations Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
