Stuart Scott Named CIO at J.B. Hunt Transport Services

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., (NASDAQ:JBHT) has announced that Kay Lewis, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) of Technology and Engineering, will retire on Dec. 31, 2015 after 27 years with the company and that Stuart Scott w will take over the position on Jan. 1, 2016.

Prior to joining J.B. Hunt, Scott held the CIO role at Tempur-Sealy International, CIO at Microsoft and CIO for various General Electric businesses. Additionally, Scott served as the VP of Business Development for Webvan, a last mile delivery service startup.

Scott earned a B.S. and Master’s Degree in Engineering from University of Louisville, an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE.

Lewis will remain available as an advisor to the company as Scott assumes her previous role.
