U.S. Grew Less than 1% in 4th Quarter
Recent forecasts indicate that the U.S. economy grew less than 1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015.
According to the CNBC Rapid Update, fourth quarter results are 0.8 percent, down two-tenths of a point from the previous forecast.
The highly regarding financial news network reported that some sources are even more pessimistic. For example, the Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow model sees fourth-quarter growth at just 0.6 percent, and Morgan Stanley estimates the economy only a mere 0.1 percent in the quarter.
Taken together, one thing is for certain: Growth is positive but far from robust.
