U.S. Xpress Honors 10 Drivers of the Year
Virtual ceremony to recognize exceptional achievement, safe driving
U.S. Xpress, Inc., a subsidiary of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc., the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, will honor 10 drivers for above and beyond achievement at a virtual ceremony on Thursday, June 4 at 6 p.m. EDT.
“We are extremely proud to once again recognize an incredible lineup of drivers for their outstanding achievements,” said U.S. Xpress President and CEO Eric Fuller. “It is an honor to have these drivers and trainers on our team and we are grateful for their unwavering dedication to both U.S. Xpress and the customers we serve.”
Each year, U.S. Xpress hosts a two-day awards event for drivers and their families. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event is being held online this year. Company executives and special guests will remotely extend their congratulations to each honoree.
Ten drivers who have earned acclaim within the last year for their above and beyond dedication and leadership among thousands of their peers will be recognized. Those individuals include Steve Allen (Riverdale, Ga.), Willis Carswell (Reidsville, Ga.), Jimmy Lewis (Waxahachie, TX), Karen and Richard Black (Orange Park, Fla.), Scott Hatchett (Hampton, Va.), Richard McFarland, Jr. (Huber Heights, OH), Paul Baskin (LaPlace, La.), Larry Wright (Hinesville, Ga.), and Larry Ransom (Hinesville, Ga.).
