Spartan Fleet Vehicles and Services will showcase an upfitted Ford Transit Low Roof 130″ wheelbase van and introduce their recently acquired Strobes-R-Us brand to the industry at the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Institute & Expo
Utilimaster’s latest purpose-built upfit features vehicle flooring with integrated mounting for the Ford Transit 130″ wheelbase cargo van, making it built to withstand tough conditions, endure extra payload, and offer a quiet ride. The featured model boasts multiple storage and shelving options, as well as LED lights, a maximum-view partition, and a double-clamp ladder rack.
“Utilimaster’s upfit facility in Kansas City, which is located next to the Ford Transit plant, allows us to provide improved ship-thru time and cost savings for this type of upfit,” said Chad Heminover, President, Fleet Vehicles and Services, Spartan Motors. “Displaying this latest vehicle here at the NAFA Institute and Expo demonstrates first-hand that we are a one-stop, bumper-to-bumper upfit partner for customers looking for a quality and unique solution.”
Additionally, Spartan Motors will introduce recently acquired Strobes-R-Us to the market at the Expo. As part of the Spartan Motors family, Strobes-R-Us increases the company’s custom lighting, displays, and storage offerings to law enforcement, specialty fleet upfits, emergency response, and municipal customers.
“We are thrilled to introduce Strobes-R-Us as the newest member of the Spartan family,” said Daryl Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer, Spartan Motors. “In addition to our Utilimaster commercial and retail vehicles seen at NAFA, Spartan Motors serves emergency response customers globally. We look forward to broadening our upfit portfolio to provide innovative upfit solutions to law enforcement and other specialty fleets.”
Utilimaster cargo van upfits are highly customizable, each designed to give drivers easy access to cargo while keeping speed, simplicity, and safety in mind. Options such 360-degree cameras, safety lighting, and computer mounts increase safety, while shelving, toolbox, and refrigeration or freezer options allow the upfits to be tailored for any type of work.
