Westport and Clean Energy Fuels Team Up for Webinar on June 18th Focusing on CNG and LNG: “What’s Best for Your Fleet”?”
Westport, the global leader in natural gas engines, is teaming up with Clean Energy Fuels, the largest provider of natural gas for transportation in North America, to present a compelling new industry webinar focusing on CNG and LNG applications for fleets.
Entitled “What’s Best for Your Fleet,” the highly anticipated free event takes place online June 18, 2013, at 1:00pm – 2:00 pm EST and will be hosted by two industry experts: John Howell, Senior Director of Marketing, Westport and Jim Harger, Chief Marketing Officer, Clean Energy Fuels.
Noted Mr. Howell, “Choosing the best fuel option in today’s dynamic environment is a complicated process that involves careful consideration of a fleet’s applications, truck and engine sizes, routes, hauling needs fueling capabilities and much more.”

The webinar also represents the ongoing collaboration between the two energy leaders in supporting a market for natural gas vehicles. In March, Westport and Clean Energy Fuels announced a joint marketing plan targeting heavy-duty trucking customers, designed to encourage the use of natural gas vehicles and the establishment of the growing fueling infrastructure across North America. As part of that initiative, the companies announced that they would bundle the Westport™ LNG Tank System—optimized for use with the Cummins Westport ISL G or the new Cummins Westport ISX12 G engines—and a long-term fuel contract with Clean Energy into a package for qualified customers.
