Westport Receives EPA Certification for Model Year 2015 Vehicles

According to Westport, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has certified the model year 2015 Ford E-450 and F-450, F-550, F-650 and F-59 featuring the Westport WiNG™ Power System.

All the vehicles are certified for the 6.8L V10 engine.

Each model is available with a gaseous prep package from the Ford factory.

California Air Resources Board certification on these MY 2015 vehicles is expected to follow soon, noted  the company.

As a leading partner in Ford’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program, Westport currently offers nine MY 2015 vehicles that are EPA certified. Westport vehicles offer QVM products developed in conjunction with Ford, featuring original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality.
