Party bus

If you’re partying on a bus in Chicago, get ready for some adult supervision — and a watchful eye.

In an effort to increase safety, Chicago has passed an ordinance requiring security cameras and a licensed guard when alcohol is involved. The ordinance mandates that vehicles with a passenger capacity 15+ that include alcohol consumption during the trip or at interim stops must adhere to these new rules.

One solution available is Rear View Safety’s MobileMule™ DVR Series. These systems record all cameras connected and protect important footage. One MobileMule™ can be used for interior security and to eliminate blind spots for operators. The MobileMule™ DVR Series protects operators, lowers insurance, and can help save money.

MobileMules™ are equipped with simple and effective GPS tracking powered by Google Maps. GPS records speeds, location and exact driving route, while geo fencing allows the fleet manager to set up a route and receive instant alerts if a vehicle deviates.

Fleet management software is include free with any MobileMule™. This allows the user to stream real time video from each vehicle simultaneously. An operator can also view/download live footage (even when vehicle is on the road) on a smartphone with the included free app. Advanced and intuitive features make it ideal for a fleet of any size. An operator can easily find, replay, or download important footage, all in one place.
