Heated A. Duie Pyle Trailer Fleet Protects Water-Based Products in WinterA. Duie Pyle, a leader in asset and non-asset-based transportation and supply chain solutions in the Northeast, has added 80 new heated/insulated trailers this season, augmenting its existing pool of over 400 heated/insulated units.

In this way, the company allows customers who ship water-based product to transport less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments without the concern that their products will be damaged by freezing temperatures.

The company calls the Protect from Freeze (PFF) program.

“Many businesses that ship and/or receive water-based products will find that freight carriers won’t transport their products during cold snaps,” said Randy Swart, COO of A. Duie Pyle.

“Pyle’s Protect From Freezing service is different,” he added. “Because of the strategic investments we’ve made in infrastructure, systems, equipment and training, our customers are able to secure their supply chain against freezing temperatures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without interruption.”
