Security Fleet

With the Winter Olympics quickly approaching, the South Korean hosts are utilizing cutting edge technology within their security fleet.  Notably, the security fleet includes drone-catching-drones, tactical aircraft with facial, and even X-ray search vehicles

The Pyeongchang Olympics anti-Terrorism and Safety team have sighted concerned about the possibility of drones to drop or plant bombs. In preparation, security forces have also been training to shoot drones out of the sky, in case their own drones aren’t enough.

While teams are scanning the skies, a tactical plane equipped with high-resolution facial recognition will keep a close eye on what’s happening on the ground. In the event of a potential threat, security personnel will be deployed to the location.

Additionally, Pyeongchang’s anti-terrorism team will also deploy three X-ray search vehicles, which will be able to see any hidden person or weapons inside vehicles driving into the venues.
