TMW, leading provider of software, business intelligence and related solutions to the North American transportation industry, announced a new step in its continued relationship with Registry Monitoring Insurance Services (RMIS), a leading provider of carrier onboarding and insurance monitoring services.

RMIS’s  compliance management services and technologies will now be integrated into TMW’s popular TMW.Suite, TMW’s flagship Transportation Management System (TMS) for asset-based, asset-light and freight brokerage transportation service providers, expanding the software’s capabilities.

TMW clients will be able to monitor carrier insurance information directly from a module that is available to purchase within TMW.Suite, helping clients save time and money on costly manual compliance management. The module will be available to TMW clients who are also RMIS customers. The updated integration reflects TMW’s mission to centralize every aspect of the end user’s day-to-day workflow, delivering solutions to its clients’ business challenges in one robust software suite.

RMIS tracks 95 percent of today’s active motor carriers in the transportation industry, which means TMW.Suite users will have access to the majority of Certificates of Insurance on file for the carriers they are looking to hire. If a certificate for a given trucking company is unavailable, RMIS has the resources to obtain it quickly. And by entering company-specific regulations into the system, users can ensure that carriers are insured in a way that specifically lines up with their business rules.

“This new capability within TMW.Suite will make it easier for our customers to obtain access to carrier insurance status,” said Scott Vanselous, TMW’s Executive Vice President, Marketing & Strategy. “It will help them save time and money by eliminating a longstanding manual compliance management process.”

“Both TMW and RMIS place a high premium on streamlining complex processes for our customers,” said Peter Lunenfeld, Executive Vice President of RMIS. “We both offer our users a way to do more with less. By integrating RMIS’s compliance monitoring services into the already formidable TMW.Suite, we’re confident that our customers will be able to centralize their operations to an unprecedented degree.”
