Universal Trailer Corporation Appoints Cliff Stewart New Plant Manager

Universal Trailer Corporation, one of the largest manufacturers of lifestyle and commercial cargo trailers, has announced the addition of Cliff Stewart to the Cargo Group.

Stewart will be working as Plant Manager of the County Road 4 facility in Bristol, Indiana, and will report directly to Jeff Campbell, V.P., Operations, Universal Trailer.

Stewart brings with him an extensive resume of manufacturing and operations leadership experience. The County Road 4 facility is one of two Universal Trailer operations; in March UTC officially opened a second facility in Bristol to produce Wells Cargo and Haulmark performance grade cargo trailers using state-of-the-art technology.

Most recently, Stewart worked for Benteler Automotive, where he held the positions of Continuous Improvement Manager, North American Operations Improvement Manger and Operations Manager.  He holds a Bachelor of Business in Production Operations Management and a Master of Science in Quality Engineering from Eastern Michigan University.

Universal Trailer Corporation, which dates back 60 years, manufactures brands such as Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. of El Reno, Okla., Featherlite of Cresco, Iowa, and Wells Cargo and Haulmark of Bristol, Ind.
