| October 24, 2013

Driver TrainingAlertDriving has announced the launch of six new Advanced Defensive Driver training courses to target and reduce the most common fleet collision causes.

With a focus on intersection crashes, rear-end collisions, and other high-risk situations facing fleets today, this advanced safety training solution is currently available in the United States.

Created specifically to address unsafe driving behaviors, the six titles include ‘Maneuvering in Tight Spaces’; ‘Avoiding the Worst Collisions at Intersections’; ‘Avoiding Rear-End Collisions’; ‘Onboard Technology Distractions’; ‘Anticipating the Other Motorist’; and ‘Aggressive Driving.’ Each advanced fleet safety training course features localized content and video, ensuring cultural relevancy and creating an authentic user experience.

“Working with our clients, we’ve identified these six areas as requiring advanced safety training for their fleets,” said Rob Martin, Vice President of Sales. “AlertDriving’s top priority has always been producing content that is relevant to the needs of our global clients, to help significantly reduce collisions, injuries, costs, and liability exposure.”

This latest module release adds to AlertDriving’s Global Defensive Driver Training courseware library of more than 1,700 different titles.

Established in 1998, AlertDriving pioneered web-based fleet risk management and has trained over 1 million drivers worldwide, providing driver safety training to more countries and in more languages than anyone else in the industry. The company’s fully customizable, driver risk management platform, called FleetDefenseSM, has helped clients significantly reduce their collisions, injuries, costs and liability exposure.
