American Fast Freight Promotes Mike Beavers to COO

American Fast FreightAmerican Fast Freight has promoted Mike Bevers from his former position as Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, to Chief Operating Officer.

Bevers will be in charge of all operations for AFF, Inc. and its companies, including American Fast Freight, Hawaiian Ocean Transport, AFF Properties, and AFF de Puerto Rico.

The new slot was, according to the company, “created to promote unity within” their organization and “formalize the senior leadership within the executive staff of the organization.”

Prior to joining AFF,  Bevers most recently held the position of Director of Supply Chain-Purchasing for Darigold.

Bevers is a Seattle native and attended Washington State University for his undergraduate degree. He received his MBA from the esteemed Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, Seattle. Bevers brings a wealth of logistics experience from transportation trucking to global supply chain management.

Bevers is currently on the Board of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Puget Sound, a member of the Tacoma Transportation Club, a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and has served as a guest lecturer for a number of transportation associations.
