Covenant Transport Taps Omnitracs for Vehicle Monitoring

Omnitracs, LLC, a fleet management solutions provider to transportation and logistics companies, announced that Covenant Transport Services, a company in truckload and managed transportation services, has strengthened its existing partnership and solution portfolio with Omnitracs.

As part of the announcement, Covenant Transport Services will install Omnitracs Intelligent Vehicle Gateway (IVG) and Omnitracs Navigation across its fleet of 3,500 trucks over the next 12 months.

Covenant Transport Services and Omnitracs have worked together for over 25 years, with both companies committed to supporting a driver-first mission through innovative technology. With the goal of continuing to keep their fleet safe and compliant, Covenant Transport Services added Omnitracs’ next generation telematics solution and navigation app to their existing suite of Omnitracs’ applications. As the trucking landscape continues to change, Omnitracs and Covenant Transport Services will work together with a mutual objective of transforming the industry through technology and insight.
