Dave Halsema Named VP at MacroPoint

Freight tracking software company MacroPoint has announced that Dave Halsema has joined the company as a Vice President.

Halsema brings deep freight brokerage experience to MacroPoint, serving most recently as Vice President of Sales Operations at Total Quality Logistics, one of the largest brokers in the industry.

At Total Quality Logistics, Halsema had responsibility for preparing and implementing a sales operations strategy, and for managing and leading sales operations and support functions. Prior to his role at Total Quality Logistics, Halsema served at AT&T and Hearst Communications in senior sales roles.

MacroPoint’s patented location tracking software, activated from a driver’s mobile phone, including flip phones, or existing in-cab ELD/GPS devices, is designed to gives third parties load status and location visibility on their shipments.
