| January 27, 2014

Diio CEODiio, a global provider of business intelligence solutions and market data to the airline and travel industries, has announced the appointment of David F. Hoppin as Chief Executive Officer.

Previously, Mr. Hoppin served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

“This is an exciting time for Diio. David’s appointment as the company’s first CEO is an acknowledgement of our extraordinary growth and the company’s need for full-time leadership,” said Diio co-founder David Bental.

Prior to joining Diio in 2011, Mr. Hoppin was a founder and Managing Director of MergeGlobal, a financial and strategic advisory firm serving the global transport and logistics industries. Mr. Hoppin’s entire career has focused on transportation, beginning with his first job as a credit analyst in the airlines/aerospace division of a major New York bank.

“Diio is an unusual company in terms of its hybrid software and data-publishing business model,” Mr. Hoppin commented. “In just more than a decade, Diio has quietly grown to become a world leader in its niche, thanks to a clear vision of what its customers need and want.”
