Enterprise CarShare Expands To New Jersey

Enterprise CarShareEnterprise CarShare has announced  that it is expanding to New Jersey with he launch of its services in Hoboken and Jersey City. N.J.

Expansion into both markets underscores the company’s rapid growth in the New York City metro area. Since June, Enterprise CarShare has doubled its fleet in New York City, and membership has increased in the metro area by nearly 50 percent.

Today, Enterprise CarShare is available on more than 75 university campuses and 40 government and business campuses and in nearly 20 major markets including New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Chicago.

“Our expansion into New Jersey will provide even more area commuters with a car share option that features up-to-date vehicles and first-rate customer service,” said Ryan Johnson, assistant vice president of Enterprise CarShare. “As urbanization continues, car sharing plays an increasingly significant role in serving local transportation needs, and our service is poised for continued growth throughout the entire region.”

New Jersey CarShare users will have access to nearly ten types of vehicles, ranging from economy cars to minivans and SUVs. Additionally, for a limited time, Enterprise is offering to waive the application fee and one-year membership charge for any New Jersey CarShare members. New members will also receive $15 in driving credits.
