Kenworth Debuts Certified Pre-Owned Program

Truck company leader Kenworth has introduced a Certified Pre-Owned Program recently.

Here’s how it works: Exclusive to Kenworth dealers and PACCAR Financial Used Truck Centers, the new program enables customers to purchase quality, pre-owned and certified Kenworth Class 8 trucks in the United States and Canada.  Qualifying Kenworth trucks are late model and low mileage, and will come standard with engine and aftertreatment warranty coverage.

Each Kenworth vehicle must pass a comprehensive 150-point inspection, which includes engine, aftertreatment, interior, exterior, chassis, electronics, safety devices, and a road test.  In addition, each truck must be certified by a Kenworth dealer technician, carry D.O.T. certification, and receive a full diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning, and an oil and filter change.

Customers will be able to search for Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned trucks on the www.kenworth.com homepage. Information will include detailed vehicle specifications and photos, and naturally a dealer location.
