Logistics Leader Integrates Freight Tracking Software

Transportation services provider AMAC Logistics has expanded its logistics offerings by integrating freight tracking software from Aljex, a MacroPoint integration partner.

For AMAC Logistics, the integration provides a way to access critical load location information and is saving the company from hiring an additional employee.

Used with a driver’s mobile phone, including flip phones, or existing in-cab ELD/GPS devices, MacroPoint’s software gives third parties load status and location visibility on their shipments. With MacroPoint, brokers, 3PLs and shippers have real-time location tracking, on-time delivery monitoring, and arrival and departure notifications.
