Mazda Reports 18.1% Sales Increase in December
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has reported December U.S. sales of 29,294 vehicles, an increase of 18.1 percent versus December 2014 and the best December since 1994.
The company also reported calendar year (CY) 2015 total (combined fleet and retail) sales in the U.S. of 319,184, up 4.4 percent over 2014 and the best result since 1994 (20 years).
MNAO retail-only sales reached 290,918 units, representing an increase of 4.3 percent over 2014, and again, this represents the best retail sales year since 1994, further showing the company’s reduced reliance on fleet sales.
In December 2015, 94.1 percent of Mazdas sold were equipped with SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY, engineered to enhance fuel efficient.
Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, Calif., and oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States and Mexico through nearly 700 dealers.
