Million Mile Safe Driver Dennis Bramblett Wins Landstar All-Star Truck Giveaway

Landstar Million Mile Safe Driver Dennis Bramblett of Hannibal, Missouri, was the lucky winner of a 2022 Volvo® VNL64T truck

Landstar System, Inc. (NASDAQ:LSTR), a worldwide, asset-light provider of integrated transportation management solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation services, has announced the winner of the 2021 Landstar All-Star Truck Giveaway. Landstar Million Mile Safe Driver Dennis Bramblett of Hannibal, Missouri, was the lucky winner of a 2022 Volvo® VNL64T truck. The Landstar All-Star Truck Giveaway, held on July 13, took place virtually via Zoom video conferencing.

Winner Dennis Bramblett was one of four business capacity owner (BCO) finalists randomly drawn from the pool of Landstar’s more than 1,100 active 1 Million Mile, 2 Million Mile and 3 Million Mile Safe Drivers and Roadstars. The Roadstar® designation is one of the company’s highest honors for BCOs awarded to the “best of the best” based on their high levels of safety, productivity and excellence in customer service.

During the virtual event, the 2021 Landstar All-Star Truck Giveaway winner was determined by each of the four finalists selecting a single box among four boxes, one of which indicated the recipient of a new truck. Bramblett was the last to select so he was left with the only remaining box, which turned out to be the winner! The prize is a dark garnet red metallic Volvo featuring a 455-horsepower Volvo D13 engine, Volvo 12-speed I-Shift transmission and Volvo Active Driver Assist 2.0 collision-avoidance system.

“Holy moly!” said a shocked Dennis Bramblett once he realized he’d won the giveaway truck. “I appreciate Landstar a lot. Since I leased on, I’ve not once been tempted to look for another company. And now I have a new truck that’s paid for!”

Each year, Landstar gives away a truck, including all registration fees and taxes, to one of its Million Mile Safe Driver independent owner-operators. The 2021 Landstar All-Star giveaway truck marked the 43rd truck giveaway in Landstar’s 33-year history as a company. Bramblett leased to Landstar in 2006. He was named a Million Mile Safe Driver in 2017.
