Mobility Author/Strategic Advisor Lukas Neckermann Named as Pre-Con Keynote Speaker for NAFA’s 2017 International Fleet Academy

| February 9, 2017

NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) proudly announces that author and strategic advisor Lukas Neckermann will be the Keynote Speaker for the International Fleet Academy (IFA), a pre-conference special event on April 24 in Tampa, Florida.

For 60 years, NAFA has navigated change in the fleet profession as well as in the automotive industry. As Neckermann’s book and presentation The Mobility Revolution state, the next decade for automakers promises to be one of the most innovative and tumultuous ever seen for drivers, what they drive, and if they drive at all. Every organization that relies on transportation will be affected by the paradigm shift, and the time to make crucial decisions is now.

“NAFA is pleased to have Lukas present at our international pre-conference event taking place the night before our annual conference,” said NAFA’s Chief Executive Officer, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “Lukas’ presentation focuses on the ’three zeroes’ that will redefine both the automotive and fleet industries: Zero Emissions, Zero Accidents, and Zero Ownership. This is a must-attend event for all fleet professionals with an eye to the future.”

Neckermann is Managing Director at Neckermann Strategic Advisors, a consultancy firm based in London with a focus on emerging new mobility trends and their strategic impact. He has 20 years of leadership experience in automotive, media, and financial services. He is also Growth Advisor to NEXT Future Transportation Inc. (a start-up company focused on autonomous shared transport) and a mentor to two further startup organizations in the United Kingdom. Neckermann is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), Instructor at New York University, and has lectured and taught courses to executives from over 40 countries.

This presentation, taking place at the Marriott Tampa Waterside in Tampa, Florida, also includes dinner and a signed copy of Neckermann’s book, The Mobility Revolution.  IFA attendees receive a complimentary ticket to see Lukas Neckermann’s presentation. A limited number of additional seats to this presentation and the dinner are available at $50 per ticket by downloading the registration form on the Institute & Expo website.
