New Cloud Software for Asset Management from Yotta

| January 28, 2014

Highway constructionIn response to new legislation and billions of dollars of government funding Yotta, the highways and infrastructure technology company, is launching its visualized asset management software Horizons in the U.S.

Horizons is a visualized Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) asset management platform designed to make it easier for asset managers to visualize, manage and optimize all their asset management strategies and records in a unique and effective way using a single cloud-based solution.

The launch of Horizons in the U.S. will be supported with the opening of a local office in Denver, Colorado, a new online resource (http://www.yotta-us.com) and a dedicated development team.

Nick Smee, Managing Director of Yotta commented, “Asset management is at the heart of MAP-21 and Horizons is at the heart of asset management. A key requirement of MAP-21 is the development by every state of a risk based asset management plan to preserve and improve the condition of the assets and the performance of the system.

“Failure to comply may result in a reduction in government funding. In addition State Departments of Transport must further define pavement and bridge conditions and performance management benchmarks. This is core functionality for Horizons.”

MAP-21 the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act is the first long term highway authorization enacted since 2005. Representing a milestone for the U.S. economy MAP-21 provides much needed funds and more importantly policy and a framework to guide growth and development of the country’s vital transportation infrastructure.
