After adding 175 hybrid vans to their fleet and driving over 1.5 million service miles, vehicles with the XL3 Hybrid Electric Drive System used approximately 20% less fuel compared to their conventionally-fueled vans. As a result, the company partnered with XL Hybrids to upfit over 100 more new vans with the innovative XL3 system.  View case study here.

  • Harvard University has cut greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 22% and dramatically reduces fuel consumption on XL Hybridscampus mail delivery routes. A review of the hybrid van’s on-road operational data showed a nearly 22% fuel and greenhouse gas emissions reduction over conventional cargo vans, yielding an annual C02 reduction of over one metric ton per vehicle per year.  View case study here.

  • PepsiCo North American Beverage has more than doubled the size of its hybrid electric van fleet, going from 30 vans to 70.
