PeopleNet®, a Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) Company and provider of fleet mobility technology, has announced that Garland L. Jackson, Jr. has been chosen to lead its original equipment manufacturers (OEM) business.

A 15-year veteran of PeopleNet and long-term industry professional, Jackson will work with new and existing OEM customers to integrate PeopleNet vehicle health monitoring technologies, analytics and analysis to improve efficiencies and the end-user customer experience.

PeopleNet’s growth in the OEM space has been building since the announcement of its first agreement in 2013 with Navistar International Corporation to provide engine diagnostic information through Navistar’s OnCommand™ Connection for International® fleets.

The company also has entered into an agreement with Volvo and recently announced that: PeopleNet has been selected by Peterbilt as its partner for the new SmartLINQ™ system, a fully integrated, factory-installed remote vehicle diagnostics system that will be standard on all Peterbilt models equipped with a PACCAR MX-13 engine.

PeopleNet has been chosen as the exclusive integrated vehicle health monitoring provider for KENWORTH TruckTech+ in all Kenworth Class 8 trucks with PACCAR MX-13 engines.

PeopleNet offers an introductory version of Cummins Connected Diagnostics, which builds upon an integrated fault code analysis available to PeopleNet customers today.
