PepsiCo Takes Delivery of Tesla Semi Trucks in December

| December 5, 2022

PepsiCo confirmed in a Tweet stating “We can confirm our first electric Tesla Semis Dec. 1 2022, supporting our Frito-Lay plant in Modesto, CA, + our PepsiCo beverages plant in Sacramento. We’re looking forward to this next step in our #PepsiCoPositive journey + will provide more details once we have taken delivery.”

The long awaited “Beast” boast a massive range. “Semi will help change that. With less than 2 kWh per mile of energy consumption, Semi can travel up to 500 miles on a single charge. Recover up to 70 percent of range in 30 minutes using Tesla’s Semi Chargers.”

With driver safety in mind Tesla’s assures that the Semi comes standard with active safety features that pair with advanced motor and brake controls to deliver traction and stability in all conditions. A central seating position gives the driver better visibility, while an all-electric architecture reduces both rollover risk and cabin intrusion in case of an accident.

This thing could be a masterpiece. Pepsi executive’s could hardly control their excitement as Twitter is full of high fiving Pepsi brass upon receiving their very first key card.
