Ryder Appoints Steve Sensing President of Global Supply Chain Solutions

Ryder System, a leader in commercial fleet management and supply chain solutions, has announced that Steve Sensing will be appointed President of Global Supply Chain Solutions effective on March 31, 2015 concurrent with the retirement of Ryder’s Global Supply Chain Solutions President John Williford.

Following Williford’s retirement, Ryder will align the SCS organization into two separate reporting segments.

The dedicated services business will be led by John J. Diez in the new role of President of Ryder Dedicated, reporting directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert E. Sanchez.

All other supply chain business will be consolidated under the leadership of Sensing in his new role as President of Global Supply Chain Solutions, also reporting directly to Sanchez.

Prior to his new role, Sensing was the Vice President and General Manager of the High-Technology industry group for the SCS business segment of Ryder. Previously, he served as Group Director of Operations for Ryder’s hi-tech and electronics customers in the U.S.

With a Ryder career spanning more than 20 years, Sensing joined the Company in 1992 as General Manager leading the operations of Ryder Dedicated solutions for regional accounts.
