Ryder Appoints Todd Skiles SVP for Supply Chain Solutions
Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R), a leader in commercial transportation and supply chain management solutions, has announced that Todd Skiles has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Supply Chain Solutions (SCS).
In this role, reporting to President of Global Supply Chain Solutions John Williford, Skiles will be responsible for overseeing the sales and solutions teams for all of Ryder’s SCS industry vertical groups and Ryder Dedicated.
“We’ve achieved very strong growth at Ryder SCS largely because of innovative, targeted new services in our vertical industry groups and in Ryder Dedicated,” said Mr. Williford. “We anticipate Todd’s strong leadership in sales will drive even further growth.”
Mr. Skiles joined Ryder in 1986 as a Rental Manager, and has since held positions of increasing responsibility within both SCS and Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) business units, including Account Manager; Director of Business Development for FMS; Director of Business Development for SCS; Group Director of Sales; and his most recent position as Vice President of Sales for FMS, Southeast Region.
