Tax Credit Extended for EV Charging Stations & Installation

| January 21, 2020

Great news if you purchased a charging station for your electric car in 2018 or 2019? Or if you plan to buy one in 2020?

Congress recently passed a retroactive federal tax credit for those who purchased environmentally responsible transportation, including costs for EV charging infrastructure.

Receive a federal tax credit of 30% of the cost of purchasing and installing an EV charging station (up to $1,000 for residential installations and up to $30,000 for commercial installations) with the retroactive tax credit.

Previously, these federal tax credits expired on December 31, 2017, but the credits are now retroactively extended through December 31, 2020.

Don’t know what you did with your receipt? No worries! If you no longer have your receipt but purchased your charging station from ClipperCreek, send us an email ([email protected]) or call us at (877) 694-4194 and our team will provide a copy of your invoice. We want you to be able to take advantage of this federal tax credit!
