Mike Dieter

Third-party logistics company Transplace has announced that Mike Dieter has joined the company as chief technology officer (CTO). Dieter will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure and development, and will report directly to Transplace CEO Tom Sanderson.

With more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, and over 14 years’ experience as the CTO for service oriented companies, Dieter has developed strengths in application development, specifically transportation management systems (TMS), data warehouses, data analytics and corporate infrastructures.

Previously, Dieter served as CTO of Health and Human Services for Public Consulting Group. He has also served in the same role for several logistics-focused businesses, including HomeDirectUSA, Clicklogistics and NationStreet.

Dieter replaced Vincent Biddlecombe, who joined Transplace in 2004 and helped guide the company through key IT projects, such as converting Transplace’s entire infrastructure to a virtual infrastructure and implementing a new disaster recovery plan.
