Truck Accessories Group Acquires SNUGTOP

Truck Accessories Group has announced the acquisition of Custom Fibreglass Manufacturing Co. d/b/a SNUGTOP.

SNUGTOP, headquartered in Long Beach, California, is a manufacturer of pick-up truck caps and tonneaus.  The company employs 200 people and services more than 180 customers worldwide.  It will operate as a business unit within TAG, led by Hartmut Schroeder.

Truck Accessories Group is a wholly-owned business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co. and is North America’s largest manufacturer of fiberglass and aluminum pick-up truck caps and tonneaus, including LEER, Century, Raider and Pace Edwards brands.  TAG operates six facilities with manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Washington and California.
