Uber and FLEETCOR Technologies, a leading global provider of commercial payment solutions, announced a partnership as part of Uber freight’s new Uber Plus program.  The Uber Fuel Card provides eligible Uber Freight app users discounts and savings on fuel, maintenance, and tires.

“This was a natural fit for us as both companies are aligned to help trucking companies, big and small, run and grow their businesses,” said Greg Secord, President of North America Trucking at Comdata. “We are delighted Uber Freight has chosen Comdata as their fuel card partner of choice and look forward to working closely together.”

Uber Freight provides an easy-to-use app that seamlessly connects trucking companies with loads to haul.

With this prepaid or credit card, active carriers and their drivers can save on fuel, maintenance and tires, as well as leverage Comdata’s expertise to provide the compliance services fleets need to meet IFTA and state permit requirements.

“The Comdata-powered Uber Fuel Card, a key component of the Uber Freight Plus program, will help trucking companies of all sizes save big on key operational costs, like fuel and tires,” said Bill Driegert, Director of Uber Freight. “We will continue to collaborate with Comdata to match the growing needs of these trucking businesses.”
