Van Monster Opens New Dealership in Dublin

| May 8, 2014

Van MonsterVan Monster, a leading commercial vehicle retailer, has become the first company to launch a dedicated used van dealership in Dublin, Ireland.

The new garage became fully operational in February and can be found along the Old Airport Road, a short drive north of Dublin city centre and a mere stone’s throw away from Dublin Airport.

Customers who visit the dealership will have the opportunity to select from up to 140 used commercial vehicles. The location offers small, medium and large vans from Ford, Peugeot, Seat, Vauxhall and Mercedes-Benz Van Monster’s Dublin branch means that the company now has 10 sites across the UK and Ireland.

This development and expansion into Ireland marks the 10th year of business for the brand. Van Monster is part of Northgate PLC which gives them unrivalled access to the best ex-hire vehicles from a fleet of over 60,000.

Gary Sullivan, the Managing Director at Van Monster, is confident that now is the best time to expand Van Monster into Ireland.

Van MonsterHe explained: “Ireland’s economy is back on the road to growth and as a result the need for a quality used van dealer is higher than ever. We wanted to meet this demand, and with it, fill a growing gap in the market. “Ireland is devoid of such a supply of used vans and the new branch will give local businesses and tradesmen access to a consistent supply and volume of quality vehicles.”

Dave Dalton, who has been named as the Branch Manager at Van Monster Dublin, was also keen to state that the new garage has a great chance of success, as “there isn’t currently a dedicated used van dealer operating in Dublin, or indeed Ireland, with the kind of stock and volume Van Monster is offering at its new branch.”
