WABCO Wins Daimler Supplier Award for Outstanding Performance
WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE:WBC) (www.wabco-auto.com), a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced that it has been granted a prestigious Daimler Supplier Award in recognition of WABCO’s outstanding performance during 2012.
Headquartered in Germany, Daimler Trucks is the world’s largest manufacturer of trucks above 6 metric tons gross vehicle weight.
WABCO won its 2012 Daimler Supplier Award in the Electrics/Electronics category for outstanding performance on innovative brake components for the new Mercedes-Benz trucks Actros, Antos and Arocs. Daimler Trucks annually rewards top supplier performance in terms of technology, quality, cost and supply.
